The 36-year-old was born on the 22nd of April, 1985 in Tirana, Albania and lived there until she was six years old. In 1991 she emigrated with her family to the beautiful Hanseatic city of Hamburg in Germany and started a new life. There she discovered her love for oriental dance after only one year through her Lebanese neighbors. It didn't take long before Jiny attended the first dance schools in Hamburg and learned lambada and salsa. After school, she graduated from the State School for Social Education in Hamburg with a degree in social education. Jiny has always found writing poetry very interesting and occasionally wrote some poetry in her free time. Shortly after graduating, however, the young Jiny decided to turn her passion for dancing into her profession. From then on, her career as a successful belly dancer and author finally began. 

In 2008 she began her professional training as a belly dancer with the Egyptian dance coach Magdy Rezkalla. She started hosting dance classes herself at the Mehrzad Marashis dance school (Merzhads Art of Dance) in Hamburg. In addition, there were occasional small appearances on German television in the programs "Die Torten-Tuner" on Kabel Eins or "4 Weddings and a Dream Trip" on VOX, where she attracted the attention of many fans. Jiny was also broadcasted on television in Albania, such as on the E Diela Shqiptare program on the Albanian TV Klan.

In 2012 the Afghan pop musician Valy discovered the pretty belly dancer and went on tour with her for over 7 years. Jiny was allowed to perform and swing her hips in the songs "Aman Aman", "Dar in Zaman" and "Lets Dance", which together have more than 50 million views on YouTube. Together with Valy, she appears on multiple stages in Erbil, Afghanistan, and even New Zealand.

In 2016 Jiny decided to work with the Albanian musician and producer Stine. Together with him, two music videos were created; "Bela" and "Do it again".

Three years later in 2019, Jiny Garuli got a dance and a speaking role in the music video "Nautlius" by Shindy which got more than 26 million views and very good reviews on YouTube. With her self-assured and confident character, she attracts a lot of attention.

On her YouTube channel, there are more videos in which she dances at the belly festival 2013 & 2016. With almost 90,000 views on her video, she went viral and shows what she can do with confidence and pride.

In May 2021, Jiny visited the German-Turkish TV talk show "Koray'il geceler". There she not only shakes the dance floor and thrilled the audience, but also surprised presenter Koray with her Turkish skills! She passed the “Turkish test” with an engraving.

In the summer of 2020, Jiny Garuli published her first literary work with the German title "Liebe- Die stärkste Schwäche“ at the publisher „Tredition“. The book is about love, sins, feminine intuition, and how women have an inner power that they can mute as soon as their hearts open. After reading the book, the saying "love is blind" should become a myth. Young women in particular pick up the book and thank the author. The book is well received and gets reviews like “The best book I own!”. German influencers like Nadjmabeauty or Alara Akaya even repost Jiny’s book in their Instagram story! On Instagram, Jiny celebrates herself and her one-year anniversary of the publication of her book with a picture. Today, the motivated dancer is very active on Instagram, where she regularly publishes updates about her life and her dance performances.
