Emilio Sakraya Moutaoukil is known for his acting in movies and series as well as for his music. After the movie series "Bibi & Tina" and his first own songs, he quickly became one of the most famous young celebrities here in Germany.

Emilio Sakraya grew up and was born on June 29, 1996, in Berlin. His mother is from Morocco and his father is from Serbia. Emilio is a great family man. His parents lived separately and he grew up with his single mother and many half-siblings. Every summer he visited his family in Morocco, which is why he knows a little Arabic and has a great connection to his Moroccan roots.

Emilio's eight years younger little half-brother Ilyes Raoul is also in the acting business. The two even appeared together in front of the camera. The two did not always get along as well as they do today, Emilio recounts. In their teens, there were arguments between the two boys from time to time, which is quite common for siblings with such an age difference.

Little Sakraya went to school at the Annie Heuser Waldorf School in Wilmersdorf. He also discovered his enthusiasm for karate and kung fu during his school days. In 2010, he even won a German championship title in karate in the version of the World Karate and Kickboxing Association. Today he says that he started these sports at that time mainly with the aim of having more opportunities as an actor.

At a very early age, Emilio discovered his passion for film and acting. At just nine years old, he was in front of the camera for film production. In 2006, he first appeared in the commercial film "Children Tell". As a child, little Emilio already knew that this is what he would like to do professionally one day. Of course, many people around him thought he was crazy, but Emilio was sure. His ambition and talent paid off and he achieved his goal.

In 2010 he finally had his first cinema appearance in the movie "Zeiten ändern dich", which was produced by Bernd Eichinger. After that, things went uphill for Emilio and more cinema and TV appearances followed, such as "V8-Du willst der Beste sein" or "Die siebte Stunde". From 2014, he was then seen in the popular movie series "Bibi & Tina" and played Bibi's friend Tarek Schmüll. With this role, he won many girls' hearts and built up a small community.

His real breakthrough came with the series "4 Blocks" in which he plays a drug dealer Issam. The German crime series is about the drug scene, protection money, and gambling.

In January 2017, he played an episode lead role in the Saarland "Tatort Söhne und Väter". Over the years, Emilio was repeatedly seen in several successful German feature films such as "Meine teuflisch gute Freundin" or " Kalte Füße" as a protagonist. He is also in front of the camera in some Netflix series like "Warrior Nun" or "Tribes of Europa".

In 2022, Emilio was elected European Shooting Star by the EFP. In the same year, he took on the role of gangsta rapper Xatar in the new movie "Rheingold", which is currently in theaters. The film is about the rapper's life story and how he made it from social housing to the top of the music charts.

Emilio has also consistently found the music very fascinating and interesting from a very young age. He started playing the piano, drums, and guitar at the age of eleven and even joined a school band. Through this, he learned to write his own songs at 15 or 16 and quickly took a liking to them.

At a later age in 2016, he produced his debut single "Down by the Lake" together with Universal Music Germany, which was then released in May. At the end of the year, he decided to stop using his previous last name publicly and instead use his middle name as his stage name.

In September 2020, his debut album "Red Sand" was released. He also occasionally likes to direct his music videos every now and then.

Emilio's biggest hit so far was the successful song "Ausmacht" which was released in the summer of 2022 and got a lot of attention through TikTok even before the release. Even after the releases, the hype did not pass. The song has now received more than 28 million streams on Spotify and is thus Emilio's biggest success in music.

In addition to TikTok, the attractive film star is also very active on Instagram. In his stories, he likes to publish excerpts from his life, such as his time in the studio or at the premiere of the film "Rheingold", where we were allowed to see a few exclusive insights.

Nevertheless, Emilio also knows the dark side of social media and draws attention to it in an interview in the program "deep und deutlich," a show in which pop culture meets politics and moving life stories. He explains how dangerous social media can be and how you have to be careful to still be in touch with reality. He is aware of the responsibility he has with his follower count, as many younger viewers follow him as well.

One thing he has learned over time is that you can't listen to the haters and it's best not to read through those comments at all. He is determined and happy to have developed himself to the point where he now doesn't care at all about the number of likes and comments.

In addition, Emilio knows exactly how to separate his private life from the public and publishes very little about it.
