Lena Johanna Gercke is one of the most famous celebrities in Germany. She was born on February 29, 1988 in Marburg. She became known as a German model and as a television presenter. But today she is much more than that.

Her first time on TV, was in 2006 on the popular TV show "Germanys Next Topmodel" with Heidi Klum. Lena Gercke not only took part in the first season of the show, but even won first place. However, her modeling career began a little earlier.

In August 2004, Lena Gercke was already booked for her first photo shoots and fashion shows. She was discovered at a regional casting by a fast food chain and then stood in front of the camera for the first time.

Two years later she won the title of the first "Germanys Next Topmodel", got a contract with the model agency IMG Models and appeared on the cover of the German edition of the „Cosmopolitan“. In the same year, Lena Gercke began to host the show "Austrias Next Topmodel" on Puls 4 and thus gained her first experience as a moderator. She hosted the show until 2012 and was then allowed to hosted the ProSieben magazine "red!" for the first time in April 2013. In 2013 and 2014, she then also sat on the jury alongside pop titan Dieter Bohlen, Bruce Darnelll and Guido Maria Kretschmer.

Over the years, Lena was then seen on more and more posters or as a moderator on television. Lena also participated in "Schlag den Star" and competed against Lena Meyer-Landrut, a German singer.

In May 2017, she won the „About You Award“ in the fashion category. In the same year, Lena then tried something completely new and took on a role as the voice actress for the Smurf Blossom in the film "Smurfs - The lost village".

For more than four years now, she has been a permanent part of the expert jury in the inventor show "Das Ding des Jahres" on ProSieben. Her own entrepreneurial spirit is probably what connects her to the show and why she fits in so well. After all, she founded her own company just a short time later.

Moreover, in 2019, she founded her own fashion brand "LeGer by Lena Gercke" at About You. There, she sells various clothes such as swimwear, women's fashion or sportswear. Lena Gercke's family is not entirely unknown either. Her half-sister Yana Gercke won third place in the 2012 casting show "Our Star for Baku" and has also taken part in "Das Supertalent“, a talent show in Germany. Lena's parents Uwe Gercke and Elvira Gercke separated early on, when Lena was still a child. After the separation, she grew up together with her mother in Cloppenburg, where she also graduated from high school.

In 2011, she lived for over four years with her, at that time, partner and footballer Sami Khedira together near Madrid.

Since April this year, it is known that Lena Gercke is in a relationship with director and owner of a production company, Dustin Schöne. In addition to commercials, he has already produced music videos and more. In July 2020, the two became parents of their little daughter Zoe.
