At just 22 years old, Viktor Jurk achieved what many at that age will be dreaming of for a long time; to be among the German professional boxers. He was born in 2000 in Flensburg, a town in Schleswig Holstein. Today, with 113 kilograms, he is one of the heavyweights among professional boxers. One belongs to the heavyweight class, in the field of professional boxing, with a body weight of 90.7 kilograms. The weight classes are important to be able to assess who is fighting whom without it becoming unfair. So, the prerequisite for a fight is that the fighters belong to the same weight class. In addition to boxing, Viktor Jurk is completing a Wings correspondence course in business administration at Wismar University of Applied Sciences. This study enables him to continue his education in a flexible way and still have time for his passion, the sport. 

Already more than a year ago, on 09 October 2021, he made his professional debut in Magdeburg at the age of 21 at the time. He decided at that time to work with "SES Boxing", a boxing club that has its headquarters in Magdeburg." Every now and then, "SES Boxing" organizes its own boxing events, which are not only broadcast by national TV but even regularly appear on international TV. Well over a hundred professional boxing events are organized at home and abroad with the TV channels Sat1, ZDF, Pro7, RTL, Sky, Eurosport, and Sport1. 

Before his professional contract, the 2.04-meter-tall Jurk impressed with a very impressive amateur career. He asserted himself as a German champion in all boxing youth classes. Early on, people recognized his passion and especially his talent for boxing. In 2019, he even won the silver medal at the U22 European Amateur Championships. 

He also stood in the ring for several weeks as a sparring partner alongside professional boxer Anthony Joshua, gaining valuable initial experience in the world of professional boxing. A sparring partner is a training partner who is willing to take some punches in the ring. This allows the partner to try out new punching techniques and refine movements. This type of training is a great way for amateur boxers to hone their skills and learn new techniques. Ideally, they can even do this alongside a professional boxer. Here again, it is essential that the two fighters belong to the same weight class and perform similar movements. 

The sparring partner of Jurk, Anthony Joshua is a British professional boxer who is already a two-time world heavyweight champion according to the IBF, WBA, WBO, and IBO versions. At that time this was a great honor for Viktor. He remembers how he could not believe his luck in the first week. To be in the ring with Anthony Joshua was a dream come true for him. Above all, Jurk's assignment at the side Joshua was planned for only one week. However, the young boxer convinced Joshua's management team right away, which is why he was finally allowed to stay at the training camp in Sheffield for ten weeks and take part in Joshua's preparations. Many of the other sparring partners were sent home at this point, while Jurk continued to impress. He took a lot with him and learned a lot during this time. He especially appreciated the professional team he was able to work with. In an interview, he said, "Here you can see the professionalism. The coaches, the team, everything is perfect. It's fun to learn from the coaches, even from Joshua directly."

Meanwhile, Viktor Jurk is in the ring himself as a professional boxer. He has already managed to achieve a knockout victory three times. His last victory, at the professional fight at the Porsche Center in Hamburg, was particularly impressive; after only 15 seconds, he knocked out his opponent, 42-year-old Tayfun Kurt, in the first round with a left hook to the head from the teaching break. In this punch, he showed full-body effort and incredible power. Such a success confirms how much potential is in the young boxer has.

Then at the end of October this year there was big news for the fans of the young talent; Jurk signed his first boxing promoter contract with the newly founded boxing promotion "B2M". One of the founders of the company is investor Axel Plaß, a shareholder at Zippel Group, one of Germany's most successful logistics companies. The other two co-founders are the cousins Christian and Raiko Morales, both of whom have been working in the professional industry for several years and have versatile experience in amateur and professional boxing. In addition to Viktor Jurk, the young promoter organization has already signed the current German boxing champion, 25-year-old Peter Kadiru, and one of the most famous German boxers, 29-year-old Nina Meinke.

With such talent on their side, right at the start, the chances of success for "B2M" are very good.

The boxer also likes to post things from his life on social media. On Instagram, Jurk posted a photo of him signing a contract with B2M. Underneath, he writes how much he is "looking forward to a future together." 

Jurk also regularly posts impressions of fights, outfit pictures, or gym content on his Instagram account. For example, he posted his impressive knock-out, the highlight of his Capefe at the Porsche Center. Here he currently has around 2000 subscribers, a number that is sure to skyrocket soon.
