The German band "Jeremias" was founded in 2018 and instantly was very popular, especially among teen girls. With several songs and live concerts, the four guys rock all over Germany. They make you want to dance and sing their lyrics with all you got!

The group was named after the lead singer Jeremias Heimbach (20) from Hanover, who suggested the formation of a band to his buddy and current guitarist of „Jeremias“, Oliver Sparkuhle (22) in 2015. 

Three years later, in 2018 this wish came true and drummer Jonas Hermann and bassist Ben Hoffmann joined the band. The four met through mutual friends and harmonized perfectly with each other from the first time meeting. After a few gigs and concerts, an artist agency („hndgmcht“) in the city of Helmstedt became aware of the four guys. In the same year, the booking agency took the group under contract, fulfilling a small dream for the still very young members. 

Jeremias got real attention from the audience after they played as a support act at several concerts with well-known artists like "OK KID" or "Giant Rocks". This year they were even allowed to play as support band for Cro, who has been one of the biggest singers in Germany for decades, on his "Trip is (a)live Tour". This was probably the biggest breakthrough for the young band because since then they sold out several concert halls. 

One of the best experiences of their early days as a band, was at PopCamp, a youth development program for musicians. There, the boys fought their way into the top five among 51 applicants and were thus supported through workshops by renowned lecturers. There they learned that the music industry is not just about music, but above all about ambition and stamina if you want to make it to the top.

However, Jeremias, Oliver, Jonas, and Ben agreed on one thing from the very beginning. No matter if there are two or two thousand people in the audience singing along to their songs, they will never stop making music together. With a lot of fun in the matter and of course great motivation they want to do their thing. 

Their songs are inspired by artists like Tom Misch or Parcels and are a mix of indie and pop music. They are always full of honest feelings. Jeremias himself would describe their music style as "disco funk". The composing and writing of the songs is done by all of them working together as a team. There is no correct order or procedure when they are composing, it is a matter of writing down how you feel and then putting music under it. The four of them sing, play instruments, and improvise together, quickly composing new songs. Their target group is not only young people. The boy band also wants to get the older generations on the dance floor and make them smile with their music. 

In October 2019, the newcomer band "Jeremias" released their first EP "Du musst an den Frühling Glauben", which was produced by Tim Tautorat. In all five songs of the EP, you can hear out the passion for music that the guys have. Today the boyband has already released two EPs, several singles, and even a debut album. "Golden Hour" was released in May 2021 and instantly made it in the top 10 German charts. With their songs in the album, the guys not only tell stories to think about but also convey a feeling of lightness and freedom at the same time. Live in the moment and enjoy every second, the band tries to tell their fans with the album. The single "Liebe zu dritt" is Jeremiah's most successful hit to date and now has more than 12 million views on Spotify. The single was released in the summer of 2021, which of course fits well with the lyrics ("Du, und ich, und der Sommer" - Lyrics). Together with the German pop singers and rappers "Provinz" and "MAJAN" they rock the stage with the song and awake summer feelings among the fans. The concerts are more reminiscent of a really good club visit, where you can party and have fun.

For a few months, the guys are also more and more active on social media platforms like Instagram or TikTok. With their official account "@Jeremiasmusik" they upload clips from concerts or announcements. One of their videos on Tiktok even got more than 1 million views and makes you want to buy the next concert tickets for a Jeremias concert nearby right away. Even at first glance, you can see the good vibes of the fans, who are all shouting the line "...is the new record of Harry Styles" from their song "Paris". One thing can definitely be said; once you start listening to Jeremias' songs, you won’t be able to stop! 

The posts on the band's accounts have a very unique style. The pictures on Instagram are mostly snapshots of the concerts or aesthetic photos, through which you, as a fan, get a glimpse of the boys' life. Currently, the band has almost 100 thousand followers on Instagram and 80 thousand on TikTok. 

Their songs not only make you want to sing along but also encourage you to dance and simply forget everything else. Listening to the four guys live is an experience you definitely shouldn't miss.
