Filip Pavlovic couldn't believe the fact that he had been selected as the new king of the jungle camp in Germany. The popular reality star finally made it; he is the winner of the 15th season of the German show "Jungle Camp: I'm a Celebrity - Get Me Out of Here!"; which is his biggest success in his career so far.

But who is Filip Pavlovic?

Filip studied fitness economics and worked as a personal trainer and coach at the fitness studio "Fit One“ in Hamburg for a long time. Filip has always been very enthusiastic about football and even played in the youth teams of FC St. Pauli and Hamburger SV. Due to a knee injury, he, unfortunately, had to give up his childhood dream of becoming a professional soccer player and playing in the first league. A little later today's king of the jungle found his passion to stand in front of the camera. After a few smaller appearances on reality shows, the 27-year-old reality star Filip Pavlovic from the beautiful Hanseatic city of Hamburg had his first major television appearance in 2018 in the fifth season of the German RTL show "The Bachelorette", where he won third place. He then won many, especially female fans for himself. His relaxed, open, and funny nature, and of course his good looks, were well received by the viewers. Unfortunately, it was only enough for him to win third place, and he didn't find his great love there either. In 2019, when he took part in the reality series "Bachelor in Paradise" in Thailand, he, unfortunately, still had no luck in finding love and then finally paused his participation in dating shows.

A year later he eventually had his first big success; he won first place in the show "Like Me-I'm Famous" and thus also the prize money of 100,000 euros. After that, things only went uphill for the coveted celebrity; he again took first place in the RTL series "I'm a Star - The Big Jungle Show", which was a replacement season for the real "jungle camp", or more precisely a "special season".

The "Jungle Camp" is one of the most popular reality shows in Germany and has been produced since 2004. The show will be moderated by Sonja Zietlow and Daniel Hartwich. Within two weeks, the candidates have to face and pass exhausting and very disgusting "jungle tasks" in order to finally ascend the throne as jungle king or queen. Every year, many well-known celebrities such as Schlager singer Melanie Müller or DSDS („Deutschland Sucht den Superstar“) winner Daniel Kübelbock take part and try their luck.

The "jungle camp" in Australia could not take place as usual in 2020 due to the corona pandemic. Therefore, "The Big Jungle Show" was shot in Cologne instead, where Filip Pavlovic won first place and therefore the prize money of 50,000 euros and the ticket for the real jungle camp.

Filip Pavlovic wins the 15th season of the Jungle Camp!

The 15th season of the jungle camp could actually take place a year later, despite the pandemic. However, it was not filmed in Australia as the years before, but this time in South Africa. This makes Filip the first “jungle king of South Africa”, as he proudly said later.

In the finale of the season, Filip fought one last time in a duel against the other two finalists Eric Stehfest, who is known for "Gute Zeiten Schlechte Zeiten", and reality star Manuel Flickinger. In the final against these two, he fought his way through cockroaches, crocodiles, and fire ants in his very last test and got all five stars! Ultimately, the spectators decided; Pavlovic got the most votes from viewers and became the Jungle King 2022! Not only his assertiveness and ambition but also his sympathy and his relaxed manners made Filip very popular.

How serious is the flirt with Tara Tabitha?

During the two weeks in the jungle camp, the 27-year-old apparently even had an admirer. The little flirt with him and Tara Tabitha developed into something bigger for the 29-year-old woman. In just a short time, she built feelings for Filip and persistently tried to get his attention. However, the young reality star quickly got overwhelmed by the situation, which is why he made it perfectly clear that the two are just friends; "We're not in a relationship. I think we're too different.". He thinks she got too caught up in something that doesn't exist. Also, this whole situation reminded him of the time he was in "Bachelorette", which probably didn't bring him any nice flashbacks; "Am I on Bachelorette or in the jungle?". Nevertheless, Tara still was very happy for Filip when he was finally elected king of the jungle. After what Filip has clarified though, a love affair between the two is quite unlikely...
