The new podcast “The Cube” sets new standards
Have you ever tried to reach your favorite celebrity via Instagram and actually did get an answer? Most of you have a straight answer to that; No. There is hardly any personal level between an influencer and a fan on Instagram.

Nowadays social media plays a very big role in everyone’s life. Whether Instagram, TikTok, or YouTube, all of these platforms are now part of our everyday life. Young people grew up with social media and from early on it has become a constant part of their lives.
I grew up in this society and have always been in contact with social media. As a child, my parents only used Facebook. Today there are countless social platforms that accompany and influence our lives. Every day the first thing we do after getting up is look at our phones. Who liked my latest picture? Who commented? How many likes does it have? How many views does the new video have? These questions concern not only influencers but every single user who is active on Instagram.
Along with TikTok and Facebook, Instagram is one of the most popular apps around the world. Over a billion Instagram users regularly post updates from their lives or follow their friends, families, and celebrities to see whenever there is something new.
Whether an old friend or a family member who lives far away, Instagram gives people a free connection to the whole world. Every user has the opportunity to publish as much about himself as he wants and thus build up their own feed.
Some influencers have built themselves a community with the app and make a living with their social media platforms. The celebrities feed their fans news from their lifestyle every day and thus get more and more attention.
One of the biggest problems with Instagram is anonymity. Every minute more fake accounts are being created and anonymous comments are being published that really hurt other people. Cyberbullying and fake news are becoming more and more common and Instagram or other platforms can no longer keep them under control.
Instagram gives young people a false image of society. Teens become addicted to stalking, spend hours in front of their phones, and are fooled and influenced by the perfect image of a celebrity. They often do not know, that that’s not what real life looks like.
I have also made my experiences on social media and especially Instagram, and have been a user of the app for several years. If I have learned one thing, then it is that the life of every single person is only shown from its best side on social networks. This means that younger generations are in constant comparison with other users and it almost becomes a competition to be perfect. However, one should never forget that every person is individually perfect the way they are.
You'd think that for influencers and celebrities, social media is only beneficial. The reach of celebrities and influencers increases every day, and so does their income. Individual comments from a fan are mostly lost in the crowd and the many other comments they are receiving.
Have you ever tried to reach your favorite celebrity via Instagram and actually did get an answer? Most of you have a straight answer to that; No. There is hardly any personal level between an influencer and a fan on Instagram. The only thing most fans get are updates about their favorite star via posts and videos on their account or in their story. (Why should actors, artists, and celebrities interact with fans?)
Not only Instagram, but also Twitter, Facebook, Tiktok, and YouTube are on the same level here, which in my opinion is a shame. The relationship between fan and celebrity is what defines the community. Without any personal contact, something is missing. Especially now in times of a pandemic, when concerts and fan meetings had to be canceled, influencers have no interaction with their fans.
However, private contact between influencers and celebrities is barely impossible. Bloggercube guarantees every user the opportunity to contact their favorite star personally. Whether via video chat, phone call, or a normal chat function, everyone can now have a private conversation.
In my opinion, this is the perfect option and the best balance to the other social media apps that do not have this feature. In addition to exclusive content from your favorite stars and your own contacts, there are no fake users, fake news, or hidden comments and messages that get lost. Every young person, including me, has felt the need to say something to his idol or simply to thank them for once. Bloggercube finally enables this long-awaited option. :)
