Wincent Weiss is one of the most successful German pop singers nowadays. However, what many do not know is that Wincent is a normal young man who started his career almost 10 years ago on the well-known show "Deutschland sucht den Superstar", with Dieter Bohlen in the jury.

Wincent Weiss was born on January 21, 1993 in Bad Oldesloe, where he grew up. He left home at the age of sixteen and thus changed his place of residence at a young age. Due to disagreements with his mother, they both decided together at the time that a separate home would do them better. In addition to school, the hard-working Wincent was employed in a supermarket and was already earning his own money back then.

The decision to take part in the casting show "Deutschland sucht den Superstar" came very spontaneously. The then 19-year-old Wincent presented his singing talent and his guitar playing in front of an audience for the first time, and did so very successfully. Wincent taught himself to play the guitar and switched from playing Playstation all the time playing the guitar. The jury immediately noticed that Vincent Weiss is something very special and that he has a lot of talent. He made it to the final round and then unfortunately dropped out among the last 29 candidates in the Caribbean. However, that was only the beginning of his career. After "DSDS", Wincent uploaded a cover version on the piano of the song "Unter meine Haut" by Elif Demirezer on YouTube and thus drew a lot of attention.

After successfully completing his Abitur, young Wincent moved to Munich. In Munich he fought his way through as a branch manager in a restaurant, modeled a bit, but still made music. He wrote his first own songs and finally got his first record deal. From that point on he only devoted himself to his guitar and music, and finally realized that becoming a professional musician is his dream.

Two years have passed since Wincent uploaded the cover of "Unter meine Haut". The DJs "Gestört aber GeiL" and Koby Funk released a remix of the cover, which ended up on rank six in the German single charts in 2015. The single even got three gold records.

In the same year, Wincent Weiss released his first solo single "Regenbogen". He also walked the catwalk for Versace in Milan and is still under contract with the then fashion agency “Tune Models”.

Then, after these first successes, things only went uphill for the attractive pop singer. In 2017 he made it to the top of the German charts with the single "Feuerwerk" and received another gold record. In April, his first own album "Something against the silence" was finally released, which was certified platinum with 200,000,000 units sold. In November 2017 his first tour through Germany with 24 concerts started. In the same month, Wincent then won the MTV Europe Music Award 2017 as the best German artist.

The pop singer has now released three albums and can often be seen on German television. In the ninth and the current tenth season of the popular talent show "The Voice Kids", Wincent is now on the jury for the second time. Together with the other three coaches, he accompanies the many young talents on their way to the final. Wincent also took part in the music format "Sing my song - The exchange concert". His new album "Vielleicht Irgendwann" is a big hit and has already has hundreds of thousands of streams on Spotify.

At the moment Wincent Weiss is happy with being single. Although he has many female fans and has many girls wrapped around his finger with his likeable and attractive personality, the 29-year-old finds it difficult to find a partner because of his job. Since he travels a lot, it is not easy for him to have a relationship with someone. In his song "Wo die Liebe hinfällt" he explains how it can be difficult sometimes to accept and feel love.

But Wincent also has to admit that he has already tried to find someone on the dating app Tinder, but was then blocked after the second day because there were so many fake profiles of him.

Wincent is very successful and sticks with his fans. Especially the younger generation and of course many girls rave about the 29-year-old. His songs are always on the radio, and there's always a great atmosphere at his concerts. The young singer and songwriter now has 787,000 followers on social media, where he regularly posts insights into his life. In his story he uploads funny videos, photos from vacations or excerpts behind the scenes almost every day. He also often shows himself when he is producing new music again. He is currently on holiday over Easter and is having a good time.

Despite the postponement of his big tour, Wincent has to say one thing, the Corona break was really good for him. The "The Voice Kids" coach apparently had previously had mental problems, but would never have taken a break on his own because of his ambition. The Corona Pandemic has enabled the singer to be with his family a lot again and got to finally be there for his little sister's birthday for three long years.

Fortunately, the open air tour is now planned where he goes on tour through Germany in summer, which hopefully can take place despite the pandemic.
