Influencers are people who make money by creating and posting content online. Their passion is to share parts of their lives with other people and thereby build a community. 

But how can you become a successful influencer?

In order to become an influencer, you must share and create content to post online and stay consistent with it. Consistency is the most important part when it comes to building a strong community because when you stop posting, people will lose interest in you very fast.

Creating an account and posting on different social networks is easy, but in order to be successful with it and seriously make money with, it requires high-quality content and a deeper understanding of how the algorithm of social media works. This algorithm shows certain content to the right audience based on what posts they watched and liked the most. For example, when a user likes several posts about sports, he will get many suggestions from that category on his social media platforms. Influencers are often paid by brands or companies to promote their products to the right audience to increase the number of buyers. This concept is called influencer marketing and is used often nowadays as an advertising strategy. 

Influencers have to understand the interests of their audience and need to incorporate them into their content. In order to get to know their followers, they have to actively interact with them through their platforms. There are different ways to do that; influencers can either message their fans for example via the direct message function on Instagram or TikTok, through comments on their posts, or really get to know them through meet and greets in person.
